Content ID and Distribution Issues
If you have a non-exclusive license, you can distribute and monetize your song under the terms of your agreement, but you cannot register it in Content ID.
If your distributor rejected your song because of a rights conflict involving one of my beats, follow these steps.
Contact your distributor
Reply to the rejection email and explain that you have a valid license to use the instrumental.
Request a manual review of your release.
Message for your distributor
Attach your license agreement and a link to the original beat to help with the review.
Contact me
After contacting your distributor, send me the beat’s name and tell me what happened, even if you’ve already resolved it.
This helps me investigate the cause of the issue and prevent it from affecting other artists.
If the issue continues, also include your distributor’s response so I can help.
Received a YouTube Content ID claim?
If your license covers the claimed use, you can dispute the claim through YouTube Studio.
If you cannot resolve the claim, contact me with the claim details.
How can you prevent these issues?
- Do not register your song in Content ID if your license does not allow it.
- Keep your license agreement.
- If your distributor rejects your release, request a manual review and provide your license.
